Maternity Care

Why Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy?

Chiropractic care during pregnancy directly benefits the mother by allowing her to be more comfortable and in a higher state of health. The mother’s health and well-being, in turn, directly affect the condition of the developing baby.

Chiropractic has been shown to aid the mother’s back, ribs, and pelvic structures preparing for the stresses of labor and birth as well as to help ease back pain, heartburn, and breathing difficulties that occur during pregnancy.

Chiropractic care throughout pregnancy can relieve and even prevent the common discomforts experienced in pregnancy.

Chiropractic care allows the nervous system to function at its maximum potential. It provides the greatest chance of optimal health for both the mother and baby, thereby creating a successful adaptation for the new family.

For maternity patients, Dr. Garnecki is available for house calls during  labor, immediately after birth, and post-partum check-ups. Inquire about our maternity wellness plans and complimentary well-baby check-up!
